Learn about our guidelines for transaction reversals and refunds on the ImaraPay platform.
Due to the instant and irreversible nature of most digital transactions (especially cryptocurrency and gift card trades), all completed transactions on ImaraPay are generally considered final. However, we have specific provisions for certain scenarios.
If you purchase airtime, data, or pay a utility bill and your account is debited but value is not delivered within 24 hours due to a system failure on our end or our provider's end, you are entitled to a full refund. The funds will be automatically credited back to your ImaraPay fiat wallet.
Note: If you enter the wrong phone number or meter number, the transaction cannot be reversed and is non-refundable.
Blockchain transactions are immutable. If you send cryptocurrency to the wrong wallet address, or send an unsupported token to your ImaraPay wallet, those funds are permanently lost. We cannot issue refunds or recover funds for blockchain user errors.
If a crypto purchase using fiat fails due to a system error, the fiat amount will be fully refunded to your wallet.
Once a gift card has been submitted, verified, and funds credited to your account, the trade is final. If a gift card is found to be already redeemed, invalid, or locked by the issuer, the trade will be rejected and no funds will be issued.
If a bank withdrawal fails to reach your destination bank account within 3 business days due to banking network issues, the transaction will be reversed and the funds credited back to your ImaraPay wallet.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund based on this policy, please contact our support team immediately at imarapaytechnologyltd@gmail.com with your transaction ID and a description of the issue. We aim to investigate and resolve all disputes within 48 to 72 hours.
