Your Right to Deletion

At ImaraPay, we respect your right to privacy and data ownership. If you no longer wish to use our services, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account using one of two methods:

• In-App: Navigate to Settings > Security > Delete Account. Follow the on-screen prompts and enter your PIN/OTP to confirm.
• Via Email: Send an email from the address associated with your account to imarapaytechnologyltd@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Once your deletion request is processed:

• You will lose all access to your ImaraPay account immediately.
• Any remaining fiat or cryptocurrency balances in your wallet will be irretrievably lost. Please ensure you withdraw all funds before requesting deletion.
• Your profile information, login credentials, and active sessions will be permanently erased.

Data Retention by Law

Please note that as a regulated financial institution, we are legally required by Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) laws to retain certain transactional data and KYC documents (such as your ID and transaction history) for a minimum period of 5 years, even after your account is deleted. This data is kept strictly secure and is not used for any marketing or operational purposes.
